The Automobile Club of Italy is the holder of the motor sporting power on the national territory that comes from the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and which is recognized by law.

ACI is the national federation for motor sport recognized by CONI.

ACI Sport is the logo used by ACI in the automotive sports field, the Federation has the task of promoting and organizing sporting activities - also for the purpose of formulating the regulations, it intervenes in the production of technical - sporting regulations, in the recruitment of Race Officials for the control of the events also deals with the approval of the race routes and the homologation of the technical material to be used in car races.
