About KYOJO
KYOJO - it is a women-only car race where women compete against each other in equal conditions.
The circuit is a sacred stage prepared for such ‘competitive women’.
There, free from the framework of age, career, family and childcare, everyone competes as a single driving athlete with the skills and driving techniques they have built up to sharpen their senses and compete to the last tenth of a second.
The new car will start in 2025, the ninth year since the race was founded.
KYOJO FORMULA
Participating Cars
The KYOJO CUP will be transitioning from the VITA-01 to a Hybrid Formula Vehicle from the 2025 season. The introduction of this new vehicle is an initiative with a view to producing stars who will become important role models for the next generation and the development of the motorsport world as a whole. The new vehicles will be managed centrally by KYOJO CUP and will be loaned out in equal condition as far as possible. With the aim of developing female racing drivers and raising their value as athletes, the series will enter a new stage from 2025, the ninth year of the series.
KYOJO SYSTEM
Rules and mechanics of the race.
The KYOJO CUP, which takes place over five events during the year, is held over two days. On Saturday, official qualifying takes place and the grid (*1) for the KYOJO Sprint (10 laps) is decided; the KYOJO Sprint starts in standing order (*2) and points (*3) are awarded to the top eight finishers. The KYOJO Final on the following Sunday will start in the same order as the KYOJO Sprint and points will be awarded to the top 10 finishers. A close battle unfolds as only a sprint race (*4) can, with the competitors overtaking and overtaking each other as they complete 12 laps around the historic Fuji Speedway racing course. Expect a hot battle with beautiful sparks from the competing women.
