Mont Dore History
Since 1961 the Race of Côte du Mont-Dore / Chambon-sur-Lac
If the endurance at Son Mans, the F1 son Monaco, the European and French championship of the Mountain has its Mont Dore Chambons s / Lac, its 5075 m and its 43 turns between Moneaux and the pass of the Croix Saint Robert.
It was the time of the “generalists” and the borders were blurred between the circuit, the rally and the coast, especially since this last discipline did not have a French championship until 1967.
