The first winner of the first race of the Euro Formula Open was Ed Pearson of the Nielsen Racing Team.

Starting from 3rd place in the first race of the Euro Formula Open season, Ed Pearson made an impact with a very fast start.
The race was very exciting from start to finish.
After the start, 3 vehicles could not move.
Yevan David was about to enter the first corner in the lead when he made contact with Michael Shin, who was next to him, and although he went off the track, he managed to continue the race without stopping.

Shin took 1st place, Garfias 2nd and David 3rd.
Pearson, meanwhile in 5th place, managed to pass de la Torre in front of him on lap 3 and moved up to 4th place.
Meanwhile, Pearson was approaching step by step, wheel by wheel.
On lap 5 he managed to pass Garfias with a great attack in the left-hander and moved up to 3rd place.

Pearson was getting closer and closer to victory.
With three laps to go in the race, Shin spun into a right-hander and lost his balance.
Pearson was right behind him, and at that moment Pearson, as if declaring victory, passed Shin and went full steam ahead to victory.

The young Brit conquered his maiden success in the series and gave Nielsen Racing the best possible debut in the series.
