The Brands Hatch Circuit is an FIA Grade 2 road course and former Formula 1 venue located an hour away from London in West Kingsdown, Kent, in the United Kingdom.

The circuit allows racing in two configurations: the Full Course with a 2.43 miles (3.91 km) trajectory and the Indy Circuit with a 1.2 mile (1.93 km) trajectory.

The track surface tends to be wet, with the pleasant climate and cloudy skies characteristic of southern England.

The Full Course at Brands Hatch Circuit has nine corners, running clockwise with six right-hand turns and three left-hand turns. High-performance vehicles get an extraordinary average speed of 99 mph (159 km/h), traveling through the ups and downs of the track.

The average velocity on the Indy circuit is remarkably lower because of its shorter straightaways, with 79 mph (127 km/h).

The most exciting features of Brands Hatch are its strategically-placed elevation changes which combine with the trees around the track to restrict visibility on the curves, elevating the technical difficulty on several orders of magnitude.

Brands Hatch Circuit GP

Brands Hatch Circuit GP is 3.9 km, 9 turns, clockwise.

The Grand Prix configuration at Brands Hatch Circuit delivers the full 3.908-kilometer layout utilizing the GP extension loop at this legendary Kent facility in England.

The GP circuit adds the extended Westfield, Dingle Dell, and Stirlings sections to the shorter Indy circuit, creating Britain's most dramatic natural-terrain road course with 121 feet of elevation change.

Brands Hatch Circuit Indy Circuit CW

Brands Hatch Circuit Indy Circuit CW is 1.9 km, 6 turns, clockwise.

The Indy designation indicates the shorter club circuit that operates independently from the famous Grand Prix loop, with clockwise flow creating the intended corner sequence through the circuit's natural amphitheater setting.

This variant serves club racing, testing, and driver training at one of Britain's most historic racing venues.

The Indy clockwise configuration provides the standard club racing experience at this storied venue that has hosted motorsport since 1926, serving London-area racing community with British motorsport heritage dating nearly a century.
