RACE TRACK FRANCE
Mornay Circuit
Circuit De Mornay 1.9 km, 11 turns, clockwise.
Located in the heart of a 40-hectare estate, the Circuit de Mornay offers a technical and accessible track, ideal for both beginner and experienced pilots.
Originally conceived in the 1960s as a private test track for Michelin, it was later opened to the public, offering a unique blend of high-speed sections and technical corners that reward precision and bravery.
The circuit boasts a 2.53-kilometer (1.57-mile) layout, characterized by its undulating terrain and diverse corner types. The first sector features fast, flowing curves, demanding a well-balanced chassis and confident driver. The middle section tightens significantly, with a series of hairpin turns and chicanes that test braking performance and car control. The final sector opens up again, culminating in a long, sweeping corner leading onto the start/finish straight, allowing for overtaking opportunities.
Throughout its history, Circuit de Mornay has hosted a variety of racing disciplines, including GT racing, touring car competitions, and club-level events. It also remains a popular venue for testing, track days, and driver training.
