The current circuit configuration is approximately 2.8 kilometers (1.74 miles) long and features a blend of fast straights, sweeping corners, and tight chicanes.
Technically, Autodromo del Levante is considered a medium-speed circuit, rewarding cars with good aerodynamic efficiency and strong braking performance.
The Levante Circuit, also known as Autodromo del Levante, is the reference point in Southern Italy for fans of 2 and 4 wheels. Owned by the Automobile Club of Italy (ACI), since 2018 it has been managed by Pex33 Driving Team, an operational division led by Ivan Pezzolla racing driver and current General Manager of the Circuit.

Levante Circuit History
Originally opened in 1934 as a high-speed road course, it quickly became a staple of Italian motorsport before being repurposed for military use during World War II. Re-established in 1960 as a permanent circuit, it has undergone several modifications while retaining its fundamental character.
The Autodromo del Levante was inaugurated on 10 June 1989.
In 1959 the city announced a new project – to be named the Trulli Circuit – in Castellana. He had the support of the CSAI (Italian Commission for Motor Sport) but the project was plagued by problems and quickly vanished.
The Putignano Circuit was an essentially 2.5 km square oval-shaped road route. The project, financed with public money, in 1970 due to a financial crisis that affected the local government was abandoned.
Well, in 1969 the Moto Club Emilio Ronchei was born and from here they slowly start to move things.
In 1972 the construction of a cross-drome was decided
In 1973 there is the acquisition of the first batch and the project is started
In 1974 the Moto Club Sport Puglia was born and the second lot was acquired, the development of the project and finally begin the work of the cross-drome.
In 1977 the spark is triggered: a motocross circuit is opened in Binetto.
This last step becomes fundamental on our path to the racetrack as subsequently an entrepreneur and former motorcycle rider has an idea. In 1978 Nicola Favia, entrepreneur and former motorcycle rider, transformed the plant into a autocross track and in 1979 a stage of the Citroën 2CV Trophy was hosted.
Off Road
“Levante Off-Road” is the area intended for off-road activities for 4×4 enthusiasts. There are two dirt tracks inside the Levante Circuit.
Dirt 1
The first involves several natural obstacles between bumps, twists, side slopes to test the skills of the participant and the technical characteristics of cars and motorcycles and can therefore be faced by off-road vehicles and SUVs without any specific preparation and using the standard tires.

The second route, inside the main track, is configured to host supermoted IMF competitions and is often used for activities with kartcross. This versatile section of the circuit offers a unique layout that combines paved and dirt surfaces, ideal for testing the skills of drivers in different conditions.
