Running CCW completely alters the experience of Cremona's signature sections—the wide left-handed stadium turn opening sequence, the tricky Turns 4-5-6 combination, and the ninety-degree right into the T8 hairpin followed by the T10 hairpin before the approximately 1-kilometer main straight.
Operating counterclockwise proves particularly valuable at Cremona given the circuit's consistent 12-meter width throughout—wider than many historic Italian circuits but narrower than modern Tilke designs—which creates different overtaking dynamics when corners are approached from reversed angles.
The circuit underwent extensive renovation starting in 2021, expanding from its original 3.450 kilometers to the current 3.768-kilometer length while adding new pits, grandstands, press facilities, and race control infrastructure.

The 2024 configuration at Cremona Circuit represents the updated layout following extensive modifications completed in March 2024 ahead of the facility's WorldSBK calendar debut, extending the track from 3.702 to 3.768 kilometers while improving the final sector through Turns 11, 12, and 13.
The extension from 3.702 to 3.768 kilometers created additional challenge while maintaining the circuit's 12-meter constant width and 11-curve layout featuring 5 right-handers and 6 left-handers.

Cremona Circuit
Since 2021, the circuit has undergone extensive renovation: lengthening of the track and the kart track, expansion of the paddock, new pits, grandstands, press room and Race Control.
It extends over a total area of 392 thousand square meters, including two tracks designed to offer performance and safety to the drivers.
Kart Track
The Cremona Circuit kart track offers a technical and challenging track, ideal for drivers eager to test their skills.
With a length of 1,224 metres, 16 corners and a 219-metre main straight , the circuit guarantees an engaging and safe driving experience.
Open every day, the kart track offers free practice sessions for private karts and pit bikes , as well as kart rental services for single sessions or group events.
