The circuit features a 3.25-kilometer (1.551-mile) main layout with 16 corners - nine right-handers and seven left-handers - connected by a 600-meter straightaway with a 10-meter track width.
Being close to the sea, the circuit is largely flat. In recent years, Circuit Calafat has become a regular off-season test center for Formula E teams.
The facility also features rallycross, rally, and autocross tracks, including a mixed 715-meter asphalt and gravel circuit with a jump and joker lap.

9 right curves, 7 left curves and a 600 m straight. With a track width of 10 m., we have a winding and very fun 3,250 m route , ideal for those who want to perfect their driving techniques during a few driving sessions on our circuit.

RX Circuit / Permanent Off-Road Track
Rallycross, Rally and Autocross track, a mixed 715m asphalt and gravel circuit including a jump and joker lap. Treated with a special system that provides a hardness that makes it perfect for any type of vehicle.
Permanent Circuit The only permanent rallycross circuit in Spain, a mixt dirt and tarmac track.
Layout With Multiple Settings The layout of the track, its ramps and jumps, technical specifications along with being a mixed circuit make it a great option for testing and training.
FIA Specifications The Calafat Rallycross Circuit has been built according to specific FIA regulations for this discipline.

Circuit Calafat History
In 1974 Circuit de Calafat was inaugurated, the first permanent speed circuit in Catalonia, it was started by a group of drivers and motor enthusiasts together with the Calafat Group.
The engineers, Jordi Xiol and Vicente Gilera, well-known in the motorsports field at the time with the collaboration of the Generalitat and the Regional Tarragona Government, designed an initial track of 2,500 m which was later –in 1987– enlarged to reach the current 3,250 m.
In 1982, financial and legal difficulties caused the circuit to close temporarily. The following year, local courts awarded ownership to the municipality of L'Ametlla de Mar, with Calafat SA granted a 50-year lease to operate the facility.
During its almost 48 years of life, Circuit de Calafat has positioned itself as one of the great permanent circuits with the best versatility in its category. Ideal for training, product tests, presentations, organization of events and experiences all thanks to the quality of its services and its abundance of facilities . In addition, its privileged location, facing the sea, and a few kilometers from Barcelona and Valencia, offers a multitude of options and makes it a great tourist attraction.
In 2009, the loopholes and pianos were asphalted and improved, making it a highly technical circuit, characterized by its winding course, which makes it especially fun. A speed track suitable for all Motorsport categories.
In 2012 the Circuit received homologation from the Catalan and Spanish Motorcycle Federation.
We cannot forget about the 770 m Drift track, which together with the school building means that Calafat has its own Driving School.

Karting Calafat opened its doors in July 2022. We are an outdoor karting circuit located in the town of Calafat, in l'Ametlla de Mar, 48 kilometers from the center of Tarragona, 40 from the Ebro Delta, and very close to the beach, specifically in the facilities of the legendary Calafat Circuit.
