Alpine A110 Cup

AN AUTHENTIC RACING CAR SIZED FOR THE BIGGEST EUROPEAN CIRCUITS

An authentic racing car sized for the biggest european circuits.

Taking advantage of the lightness and agility of the production car, the Alpine A110 Cup offers top-of-the-range services, to combine performance, efficiency and driving pleasure.

A search for rigor and efficiency for the chassis.

Manufactured by the Alpine factory in Dieppe, the monocoque of the Alpine A110 Cup is modified to adapt the geometry of the suspension, reduce the ride height (-40 mm), provide anchorage points for the roll cage and adapt the rigidity to the constraints of the competition.

COMPROVED ON SECURITY

To meet the challenge of integrating a steel arch with an aluminium chassis, engineers and technicians devised a novel technique. As soon as the monocoque is assembled in Dieppe, steel plates are integrated into the structure, fixed by gluing and then bolting and protected by cataphoresis. These plates then serve as anchoring points to the steel tubes ensuring the safety of the pilot.

Ready to run, the Alpine A110 Cup is supplied with a set of top-of-the-range safety elements: specific Sabelt bucket with headgear, Hans six-point harness, automatic fire extinguisher, dry battery, circuit break, etc.

As on the standard Alpine A110, the braking circuit is supplied by Brembo. Made in one piece in magnesia, the stirrups six pistons of the latest generation pinch of imposing ventilated discs of 355 mm (AV) and 330 mm (AR). The Alpine A110 Cup is equipped with ABS and anti-skid system, adjustable and deactivatable.

SPECIFIC FAST CLEAN, SERIES ENGINE

Under the hood, the Alpine A110 Cup takes over the 1.8L turbocharged direct injection engine of the production car.

With an air filter and a competitive exhaust line, the power of the Cup rises to 300 hp for an unchanged torque of 320 Nm.

Electronic management is provided by a state-of-the-art Magneti-Marelli SRG 140 electronic box, which also integrates the engine data acquisition and chassis system.

This engine is coupled to a six-speed sequential gearbox, developed specifically as part of a partnership between Signatech and 3MO. It is equipped with a self-locking differential with limited slip.

BOARD

The passenger compartment of the Alpine A110 Cup was designed to offer maximum pleasure and comfort to its occupant. Well-fitted in his Salbet seat, the driver faces an XAP steering wheel, specifically developed for the Alpine A110 Cup inspired by the Alpine A480.

Like each component of the car, this steering wheel shows an unusual perceived quality in the category. It integrates the packs of the box control, a digital dashboard and all the useful contactors.

The pedal box and the adjustable steering column make it possible to adapt the driving position to all the templates.
